SINGER ROBIN THICKE CLAIMS “BLURRED LINES” IS ABOUT HIS WIFE OF 20 YEARS. By Mass Appeal News

LOS ANGELES – R&B super star Robin Thicke, 36, has been catching hell ever since his racy song “Blurred Lines” hit the radio airwaves. And if the raunchy lyrics weren’t enough, the pornographic video coupled with his grind on Miley Cyrus’ ass at the VMAs certainly pushed critics over the edge. Now Robin claims the salacious song is all about his alluring wife of 20 years, actress Paula Patton. How weird is that? “I don’t think people get it,” explained Robin. “I wrote it about my wife. She’s my good girl. And I know she wants it because we’ve been together for 20 years.”

Okay dude, if you wrote the song about your wife, why are you waiting until now to say so? Also, the logic doesn’t make sense. Think about it. ‘Blurred Lines’ is about a woman who’s stuck in a turbulent relationship with a man who hopes to “domesticate” her and Robin believes she’s an “animal” so he plans to “liberate” her because she “don’t need no papers.”

In other words, why would Robin write such misogynistic lyrics about a woman he’s been with since age 16? Also, Paula is 37-years-old, hardly the qualifying age of a “good girl,” ya think? RT, the goal is not to bag on you dude. But it’s time to fess up and tell your fans the truth which is: “I made a nasty song and video in very poor taste.”
